In 2003, Matt learned how to design and bring websites to life. Since then, he has managed and owned multiple companies specializing in website development, social media, and online learning.
In 2009, he founded The Marriage Group with the vision of creating online marriage preparation courses for couples planning to be married in the Church. It’s leading courses are now enjoyed by thousands of couples each year throughout the United States and abroad.

Scott Werner, Operations Director
Scott is a talented website developer and graphic designer. Self-taught in both disciplines, he continually hones his skill-set while balancing creativity with “real-world” needs and best practices.
In an ever-evolving profession, Scott has made several contributions to his field. He has published multiple “plugins” for the WordPress web authoring platform, garnering thousands of downloads and favorable ratings.
Prior to Advanced Ministries, Scott thrived as the lead website developer at a Michigan web design firm. He is also a leader at The Marriage Group, creator of marriage prep and NFP courses delivered online.
